Veteran CIA Officer calls for Intelligence reform and full disclosure on Dr. King, Jr.’s assassination

January 18, 2009

PRESS RELEASE 1/19/2009 - Veteran CIA Officer calls for Intelligence reform and full disclosure on Dr. King, Jr.’s assassination

THE OSBORNE EFFECT: Veteran CIA Counter Intelligence Officer Leutrell "Mike" Osborne, Sr. Calls for Official Review of the Assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., by Iona Miller

Annapolis, MD, January 19, 2009. Over 40 years later, the American public still does not know the whole truth about the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Yet part of his vision lives on in the timely election of Barack Obama. Perhaps in this new political era we can finally publically answer long-suppressed questions about the identities of Dr. King, Jr.’s assassins and their backers.

Post-Racial America?

In order to heal, the public needs to hear the undisclosed story from official sources. Obama’s election has popularized the term “post-racial.” But is ethnicity becoming less important or significant in society? As much as we might wish it, to declare it is not to make it so. The same can be said for the propagandized version of Dr. King, Jr.’s story.

Leutrell Osborne, Sr. rejects this “post-racial” buzzword as inherently unsound. Whatever it is supposed to mean in terms of political hope remains hopelessly...

Predicting the future now

December 27, 2008

As someone who is frequently asked, "What's coming next?" I find that talking about the future is perhaps one of the easiest things to do: you are never wrong, because the future never actually arrives. Marshall McLuhan used to say, "Never predict anything that hasn't already happened", because – and this is most important – "The future of the future is the present".

Aye, there's the rub – the problem is not one of seeing the future, but of perceiving the present. The present is a very tricky thing, because it has a habit of getting away from us and very quickly becoming the past. When I ask people to speak of the present, most often they will speak of anything but the present. They will speak about the future – what they're about to do. They will speak about what they have just done – the past.

It is actually very difficult to speak about the present since most of our language is geared towards these other two temporal orientations. This is not surprising, since, for the last 3,000 to 4,000 years, we have designed and developed our culture almost exclusively for the purposes of recalling the past, or...

Germ Warfare and You

December 19, 2008

You are probably infected with engineered mycoplasma. I not only knew MJR but insider microbiologists. Worldwide that profession is targeted for assassination - check the stats yourself - when they turn watchdog.

Are We All Ticking Time-Bombs?
Biowarfare * Mycoplasma * 9/11 Anthrax Connection
Iona Miller, August 12, 2008

“And take upon's the mystery of things,
As if we were God's spies.” (King Lear)

"Armis Bella Non Venenis Geri"
-(War is waged with weapons, not with poisons)
-- Ancient Roman condemnation of well poisoning.

"Governments are instituted to lie to the greatest number of people
the greater amount of the time." – Machiavelli

"Every human cause has now the romantic charm of a ‘lost cause’, and the irrelevance of proposed human ends is only equaled by the likelihood of the annihilation of human beings."
– Marshall McLuhan, The Interior Landscape, p.186, 1946-7

This Germ’s for You

The trigger has already been pulled on the smoking gun of biowarfare and we were all in the crosshairs. In the 1950s-70s, pathogenic mycoplasma were covertly released in top-secret “mock” attacks. Dr Maurice Hilleman, chief virologist for the pharmaceutical company Merck Sharp & Dohme, stated that... [More]

Candidate for Top Intelligence Post Withdraws Name
Tuesday 25 November 2008

by: Jonathan S. Landay, McClatchy Newspapers

Amid mounting opposition from liberal groups, John Brennan, the leading candidate to be CIA director for President-elect Barack Obama, withdrew from consideration. (Photo: PBS)
Washington - A former senior U.S. intelligence official Tuesday withdrew from consideration for a top intelligence post in the new Obama administration amid protests from liberal groups linking him to the Bush administration' s "enhanced interrogation" and secret transfers of terrorism suspects to nations that torture prisoners and political opponents.

The move by John Brennan, a former senior CIA official and head of President-elect Barack Obama's intelligence transition team, is the first personnel setback to hit what's otherwise been a swift and smooth transition to the White House for Obama.

In a letter to Obama, a copy of which was obtained by McClatchy, Brennan denied involvement in the Bush administration' s detainee and interrogation policies and said he was taking himself out of the running to avoid entangling the new administration in unnecessary controversy. Brennan, who held a succession of CIA posts, was reported to have been under consideration as the successor to... [More]

CIA Pervian drug scandal

November 29, 2008

CIA Scandal Erupts

It must be the worst nightmare of every CIA director — the agency ignores its own rules and regulations and kills innocent Americans, and then the people in charge of the operation lie to Congress and cover up what happened.

The nightmare has apparently come to life and it became public today when Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) announced that a report by the CIA’s own inspector general found that agency officers apparently ignored standing rules and regulations governing when they could shoot at aircraft in the drug war in Latin America. The lapses led to the death of at least 10 innocent civilians, Hoekstra said, including two Americans, Veronica “Roni” Bowers and her daughter, Charity, in April 2001. They were missionaries in Peru heading home when the CIA ordered a Peruvian Air Force jet to shoot down their plane. The shoot down was part of a joint U.S.-Peruvian anti-drug program that began in the mid-1990s. CIA officers worked with Peruvian pilots to spot planes believed to be carrying illegal drugs.

“It is a blot, a dark stain, a sad day for...

Intell for Obama

November 29, 2008

Obama Intel Team Intel

The Obama administration’s intelligence team is taking shape. So far, we’ve got the names of five people tapped for the transition team.

Top of the list from our intelligence community source is John Brennan, an early supporter of Obama’s and one of his foreign policy advisors. Brennan’s resume stands rock solid. He was director of the National Counterterrorism Center and is the chairman of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, a Washington advocacy group for the intelligence community.

Next on the list was retired Army Maj. Gen. Bob Harding, former director of operations at the Defense Intelligence Agency and deputy to the Army’s Chief of Intelligence. He is now head of his own firm, Harding Security Associates.

Women figure prominently on the Obama list. Jami Miscik, is being touted as the co-leader — with Brennan — of the intel transition team. The former deputy director for intelligence at CIA, she is now global head of sovereign risk at Lehman Brothers. Miscik led the agency’s analysts when they produced the infamous National Intelligence Estimate concluding that Saddam Hussein’s Iraq probably possessed weapons of...

CIA Heroin trade 08

November 29, 2008

CIA heroin trade CIA, Heroin Still Rule Day in Afghanistan By Victor Thorn Mon, 24 Nov 2008 Afghanistan now supplies over 90 percent of the world's heroin, generating nearly $200 billion in revenue. Since the U.S. invasion on Oct. 7, 2001, opium output has increased 33-fold (to over 8,250 metric tons a year). The U.S. has been in Afghanistan for over seven years, has spent $177 billion in that country alone, and has the most powerful and technologically advanced military on Earth. GPS tracking devices can locate any spot imaginable by simply pushing a few buttons. Still, bumper crops keep flourishing year after year, even though heroin production is a laborious, intricate process. The poppies must be planted, grown and harvested; then after the morphine is extracted it has to be cooked, refined, packaged into bricks and transported from rural locales across national borders. To make heroin from morphine requires another 12-14 hours of laborious chemical reactions. Thousands of people are involved, yet—despite the massive resources at our disposal—heroin keeps flowing at record levels. Common sense suggests that such prolific trade over an extended period of time is no accident, especially when the history of what has transpired in that... [More]

Conspiracy Theories

November 24, 2008

From the assassination of John F Kennedy to the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. From Roswell, New Mexico, to Nasa's moon landings. From the bloodline of Christ to the death of Elvis Presley. Every major event of the last 2,000 years has prompted a conspiracy theory and here we examine those with the biggest followings and the most longevity.

Thanks to the power of the web and live broadcasts on television, the conspiracy theories surrounding the events of 9/11 - when terrorists attacked the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon in Washington - have surpassed those of Roswell and JFK in traction. Despite repeated claims by al-Qaeda that it planned, organised and orchestrated the attacks, several official and unofficial investigations into the collapse of the Twin Towers which concluded that structural failure was responsible and footage of the events themselves, the conspiracy theories continue to grow in strength.

At the milder end of the spectrum are the theorists who believe that the US government had prior warning of the attacks but did not do enough to stop them....

Nexus Review

Iona’s art and commentary is included in this Science-Art art book

Science-Art Research Centre of Australia, Inc., 2005

ISBN 0-9577784-7-3 (155 pgs)

By adhering to a mechanistic worldview, Western civilization is on a path to extinction, says Science-Art philosopher Robert Pope. The ancient knowledge passed on by the Greeks upheld a survival science, a “Savior science” that was misinterpreted by Leonardo Ad Vinci but was privately understood by Isaac Newton.

Da Vinci was an “Unbalanced genius” according to Professor Pope, and by “inadvertently” obscuring the “principle of creation” he helped bring into existence a mechanistic mindset that is now accelerating a global crisis of destruction. He made the ultimate mistake by suggesting that all of the universe could be made visible to human perception – and yet the Greeks, and other ancients before them, identified with a universal reality in which harmonious, invisible atomic movement generated divine wisdom.

In response to popular novels like Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code, Pope hopes to set the record straight by returning to the atomistic philosophy of the ancient Greek scholars such as Plato and Philo. Plato’s worldview is...
