SAINT GERMAIN & THE DRAGON
The Secret Triangle Book of the Dragon Lineage

By Iona Miller, 10/2008; 3-5000 words

"...and the seven judges of hell ... raised their torches, lighting the land with their livid flame. A stupor of despair went up to heaven when the god of the storm turned daylight into darkness, when he smashed the land like a cup."-- An account of the Deluge from the Epic of Gilgamesh, 2200 B.C

The dragon of alchemy "devours, fertilizes, begets, slays,
and brings itself to life again."

The Triangular Book
of the Count of St. Germain

Translated by Robert Word

The Holy Magic revealed to Moses discovered within an Egyptian monument
and preciously preserved in Asia under the emblem of a winged dragon.

1. To find things lost in the seas since the flooding of the globe. 2.
To discover mines and diamonds, gold and silver within the bowels of
the earth. 3. To preserve one's health and prolong one's life for a
century, and that with the freshness of fifty years, and the strength of
that age. You should do your operations for the first two objects only
when the sun, earth, and moon are found in conjunction in the same line,
and within the same plane. As for the third marvel, you may perform the
operation at any time, but it is necessary to carry on your person a
figure like that which you see here.

You shall take an appropriate vase (made of any material) and fill it
with fire which you shall exorcise in the following manner:

O Creature of Fire, I excorcise you by Him by whom all things were made
in order that you shall remove from yourself all phantoms.

Bless it, O eternal Father, for the glory of thy holy and immortel Name.
Thou who lives and reigns through all the centuries of the centures.

A Levite which you shall have with you shall respond: AMEN. Next, you
shall bless the incense and four lamps in the following manner: O
eternal God, sovereign Being, bless this incense and these lamps in
order that their strength and their virtue shall augment the fear of
their enemies, that they may not enter herein. Thou who lives and
reigns through all the centuries of the centuries. Your Levite
responds: AMEN.

You shall pour this incense so blessed upon the fire and light the lamps
before your operations. The small concentric circle is the place which
you shall take during these operations. The other circle which is below
is the place to be occupied by your Levite; you shall be clad as in the
days of the sacrificial ceremonies. Upon entering your circle you shall
have in your left hand the following figure. Your Levite shall follow
you in carrying the characters of revelation.

When you shall have arrived at the destined place, you shall give back
to your Levite the figure with which you entered; then the Levite having
occupied his, you shall bless his circle in pronouncing these sacred
words:

NOTAMARGATET, -- bless that circle -- bless it YANODA -- bless it MIOLE
-- bless it ALAG -- bless it AOTHIO -- bless it SORIDIS -- blesws it
APHAL -- bless it AGEMO, bless it THOBASSA -- bless it ARIF -- bless it
BADORA, Thou who lives and reigns through all the centuries of the
centuries. Your Levite shall respond AMEN.

Next you shall invoke the spirits to whom I have given the power to
preside over the hours of the night in commencing from the side where
the sun rises, saying: LEAMAN, LECIAB, LATRANAVIO, RIBRAL, TELARO.

From the side where the sun sets: ELANA, LEPAB, USTAEL, THAERRUB,
SOTARECO, ILIBAPAC.

From the highest side of the circle: ELIA, ELINA, AMIGABIREL.

From the lowest side of the circle: PEDINBAD, FIALECHAM, CHARSIEL.

You shall then make the following invocation on the side where the sun
rises, prostrated upon the ground:

We invoke you YALATINA, and LEMIROT, LESIAB, and TELAR, HERIBAG and
ARNAVIO, TRABA and ARIOT, ANIEL and LEDIMAT, YANAEL and CALMAS, LEASO
and VIANOEL; we command you by Him by whom all things were made and by
all the other names of the ETERNAL, and by these:

IANODA, EL MIHOLES, HOLAE MEBOTH, NOLICSAZ, and NOTAMMARGATEL who is the
Lord God exalted before you and represented invisibly near this circle;
let me know by a just inspiration if you judge me to be dignified by the
purity of my soul -- the places where there are mines of diamonds, gold,
and silver, those who find precious things lost in the seas -- to
prolong my life in health and that for a century -- I request these
favors to be granted without incurring danger, risk, or peril, by Y and
V which Adam understood, by the name AGLA for the preservation of Lot
and his family from the fire of Sodom and Gemorrha. By the name Joth,
for the deliverance of Jacob from the persecution of his brother. By
those of SOIGAD, YANADA, THEOS or NOTAMMARGATET, and by the other names
of the ALL-POWERFUL who truly lives and reigns. Such is the WILL of Him
who created all, and Whose empire endures through all the centuries of
the centuries.

Your Levite shall respond: AMEN.

You shall place upon your head with your left hand the figure which you
gave to your Levite; then if your soul is pure, it shall be exalted.
You shall feel yourself to be inspired; you shall lend an attentive ear
to all that which the aerial spirits shall whisper, having care to trace
from right to left on a brass plate the inspired characters which; you
shall bless with these words:

Blessed Be PAO.

THEOS. You may communicate these things to no person because you would
render unworthy my divine bounty and you would not have the success for
which you have obtained hope.

You shall then take the figure which was upon your head with the same
hand; then holding it in both hands and prostrating in adoration you
shall pronounce these characters:

In the name of the Eternal my God, true master of my body, my soul, and
my spirit, go, go in peace; retire that you may accompany me always, and
be ever ready to come when I shall call you.

AMEN and AMEN.
FINIS.

STARGAZERS

PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOX: The ancient systematic observers noticed the regularity of the passages of the planets through the constellations of the fixed stars. They conceived the grandiose idea of a mathematically determined cosmic order of greatness with lesser ever-evolving cycles of celestial manifestation, disappearance and renewal. Man sought then to harmonize with these cycles through the timing of religious festivals and astronomically based calendars in imitation of heavenly circumstances.

The Precession of the Equinoxes was first noticed as a slow but steady slippage through the Zodiac of 1 degree every 72 years. To complete one cycle of the zodiac--a "Great" or Platonic Year--requires 25,920 years. Dividing this sum by 360 yields the number 432, the root of the mythological count of 432,000 years. However, it is not only mythological, or archetypal--it was discovered by centuries of controlled astronomical observation, even prior to written record-keeping.

In India, the Kali Yuga is supposed to have begun on February 17, 3102 BC. The astronomical aspect of a yuga begins with the sun, moon, and planets in conjunction in the initial point of the ecliptic. Everything returns to the same point at the end of the age. This belief originated way before Hindu astronomy and is cross-cultural. But 3102 BC is a good approximation of the invention of the arts of writing, mathematics, and astronomy--all of which are a remarkable effort at translating celestial mathematics into the ordering principle of life on earth.

This is the echo of the old Mesopotamian doctrine which reverberated through Greece and Rome (Berossos to Seneca) as well as India (Yugas). It spread all over the known world into Egypt, the Zoroastrians, and traces are even found in China, Mexico, and South America. The old Sumerian tradition of astronomical observation was the basis of all intellectual culture, and originator of the myths of eschatology, or end times. There was a good reason they kept such a watchful eye on the sky. Events originating there gave meaning to the term “God-fearing.”

Ancient record of asteroid impact

UK space scientists have discovered what they claim is an account of a devastating asteroid impact in Europe five thousand years ago. The disaster is chronicled on a mysterious clay tablet that has been stored in the British Museum since geologists found it in the 19th century.

The tablet pictures an asteroid so big that its shape could be made out with the naked eye while it was still in space.

Alan Bond and Mark Hempsell worked out that the asteroid, nearly a mile wide, struck Köfels in Austria as a blazing fireball.

The tablet had been nicknamed the Planisphere because it shows drawings of the constellations and text listing their names.

It was made by an Assyrian scribe and was discovered among 22,000 tablets in the remains of the Royal Palace at Nineveh in what is now Iraq.

Space entrepreneur Bond and astronautics lecturer Hempsell, of Bristol University, used powerful computer programs to analyse the events depicted on the Planisphere.

They discovered it is a copy of a notebook made by a Sumerian astronomer recording events in the sky before dawn on June 29, 3123 BC. The scientists found that half of the tablet notes planet positions and cloud cover, but the rest shows how the asteroid appeared in the heavens.

By analysing the record of the asteroid's trajectory, the scientists linked the event to a giant landslide in Austria. Researchers had suggested in the 20th century that the landslide was due to a meteor impact but were puzzled by the lack of a crater.

The newly uncovered record shows that this is because the asteroid flew in at a low angle and clipped the top of Mount Gamskogel in the Austrian Alps. This caused the asteroid to explode before it hit the ground seven miles ahead, pulverising the rock.

The scientists say the exploding asteroid would have caused a back plume along its path across the Middle East and Mediterranean.

Mr Hempsell said: "The ground heating would be enough to ignite any flammable material, including human hair and clothes. It is probable more people died under the plume than in the Alps due to the impact blast."

DEEP BACKGROUND - DEEP IMPACT

Many mythical elements have their origins in real events lost to the mists of history. For example, we now know that ancient Greek myths of Titans and winged Griffins likely arose from common discoveries of gigantic dinosaur bones. Many fossils were found in temples but largely ignored by archaeologists who failed to realize their importance in the archaic context. Then no one knew that dinosaurs met their fate from a celestial hammer.

Another massive impactor, 12,900 years ago, wiped out Ice Age megafauna and Early-American Clovis people and set the whole North American continent ablaze. The significance of the dragon has always been its control over the destiny of mankind.

The “return of the dragon” always had profound consequences on human survival and civilization. Near earth objects (NEOs) continue to pose a threat. We now know of a least 27 land-based impacts in the last 11,000 years. We can expect to find more deep water submerged evidence of immense disaster.

Tiamat was the great cosmic dragon of Sumeria and Babylonian myth who gave birth to a horde of serpentine monsters. The comet Schumacher-Levy showed us this description is more than a metaphor before the serpentine fragments slammed into Jupiter in 1993. The vast cosmic drama riveted the attention of an astonished world. It deeply changed how we thought about ourselves and our planet. It was visible proof of the unthinkable.

Comets orbit around the sun, then head back toward Earth orbit with the solar wind pushing the material stream of the comet in front of the more dense central core. As it rounds the sun, solar gravity can pull the entire comet in, destroying it utterly or breaking off a part of the comet stream, launching it on a new slower path. Swinging around the sun towards Earth, the comet is scattered. Deflected fragments of it passing near to Earth's gravitation may be pulled in. All the cometary matter is now more susceptible to Earth's gravitational pull.

When it comes to celestial phenomena, the more we look at mythology, the less mythological it seems. Pre-scientific myths use supernatural language to encode impressive, unexplainable events. Without engaging in present-day comet mythology, we can examine the nature of this fearsome dragon.

Cataclysmic Cosmic Drama

The winged dragon has been a mythic figure since Sumerian times. Arguably, it may have arisen from the highly visible passages of the periodic comet Encke and the debris field it left behind as it broke up. Did a solar hurricane, a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) rip off the plasma tail of the huge post-perihelion mother-comet Encke/Tiamat as it did in 2007?

Science now knows when meteorites or comets strike the Earth, they can start massive fires. Conflagrations can also occur as Earth sweeps through cometary debris. Is this the origin of tales of fire-breathing flying dragons? Does it shed some light on the Bible’s Great Flood or other Bronze Age Catastrophes? During the first millennium B.C. up to the time of Christ, the orbit of this comet or that of its associated dust trail intersected Earth’s orbit, leading to annual fireball storms of amazing intensity and perhaps Tunguska-like explosions.

A statistically significant number of Earth-crossing asteroids are part of the Taurid Complex of interplanetary objects. In 1984, Clube and Napier warned, "the last Ice Age could have been caused by the progenitor of comet Encke, part of which was the Tunguska meteorite, an interstellar object. It is estimated that further debris from the zodiacal cloud will intersect earth during the period 2000-2400 AD."

The dragon is the symbolic superstar of Saint Germain’s TRIANGLE BOOK, which says its wisdom comes from Egypt and Asia, then it urges us to look to the Flood and offers a ritual of immortality. But how is the Dragon related to the Great Flood? How was life different before the Deluge? Both the Dragon and the Flood are clues that contextualize one another. Likewise Egypt and Asia.

A relief impression from the Mesopotamian Holy Grail, the ritual Libation Cup of King Gudea of Lagash (2100 BC.) portrays the ancient Sumerian lion-serpent-dragon Tiamat. It stands guard over the terrestrial Tree Of Life, which is entwined with a serpent, one of the oldest known images of the snake and the caduceus. [see below]

Astronomers suggest a series of cosmic disasters shaped Earth in prehistoric times. This threatening sky also shaped cultures and religions. A ‘giant comet’ theory is now backed by climatological and archaeological evidence. Geomythology is the name of the discipline that mines ancient mythologies for evidence of physical events.

Ancient man witnessed cataclysms, including Proto-Encke events, and created theories of the beginning of the world and the origins of life. The most literary of these were the Sumerians and Egyptians. Not surprisingly, they were sky-watchers, religiously obsessed with heavenly events.

In 1940, Harvard Astronomer F.L. Whipple identified Encke as a remnant of a large mother comet that broke apart as long ago as 80,000 years, creating the still-active Taurid meteor showers. In 1999 a mighty Beta-Taurid meteor shook the New Zealand landscape and was described "as bright as the sun." The previous year a dazzling orange bolide fell in Turkmenistan with smaller meteorites reported in Nashville, Tennessee and in New Mexico.

Coinciding with the Vela X supernova, astronomers date a massive break up of Encke to about 12,000 years ago, with secondary break ups 4,500 and 1,500 years ago. Earth passes through this dense comet debris field roughly every 3000 years. Is this doomsday comet the root of the word “disaster,” literally, ‘dis’ (evil) and ‘aster’ (star) – a malevolent celestial force? Unlike meteorites, comets can be viewed long before inflicting catastrophe and cataclysm.

The Sumerians told of vast wars in the sky between the mother comet they called Tiamat, and other gods, such as the water god Enki. Is it just one of those weird synchronicities that the comet named for its discoverer, Johann Franz Encke, echoes the ancient god names?

As early as 5000 years ago it began raining a barrage of material on Earth. The mysterious 1908 Tunguska explosion occurred at the peak of the Beta Taurid meteor shower and provided a warning of the power of such disasters. Linked to destruction in the Fertile Crescent, Encke made its first historical close pass in 3100 B.C.

Lake Umm al Binni, near the confluence of the Tigris-Euphrates in Southern Iraq, is a suspected 3000-5000 year old bolide meteorite crater from the late Holocene Era when the area was 10 meters under the Persian Gulf. According to Sharad Master (2002), "A wet impact would have generated huge tsunamis, which would have lashed all the port cities of Mesopotamia, such as Ur, Uruk, Shurrupak, etc." Estimates rate the impact equivalent to 1000 Hiroshima bombs. Periodic destruction continued through the Bronze Age.

Another modern discovery is a candidate for catastrophes.

THE HEAVENS RAIN DEADLY FIRE

In the New York Times, Nov 14, 2006, scientist Dallas Abbott identified the site of a massive asteroid impact (Burckle Crater) off of the island of Madagascar that struck the earth around 2800 BC. Collating cross-culural myths, including eclipse descriptions, Thomas F. King has calculated the disaster occurred on May 10, 2807 B.C.

This 3-mile wide asteroid landed in the seabed, and sent a 600-900 foot high wall of water - a megatsunami - around the Indian Ocean, impacting land as far away as Australia, and crashing onto the coast of Africa, up the Red Sea and Persian Gulf, and quite possibly into the Mediterranean Sea as well.

The radiant fireball would have created shock waves, scorched air, sonic blasts, violent mega-lightning and torrential rain. This asteroidal impact would have sent a huge surge of water into the mouth of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, flooding the ancient land of Sumeria, the source of the Biblical flood legend. Sir Leonard Wooley, the archaeologist who discovered the city of Ur, found 30 feet of flood-deposited sand that separated the most ancient levels of the city from newer habitation levels on top of the flood debris. Half the population or more died.

Abbott's findings of deep-sea strike craters indicate that large-scale cosmic strikes hit the earth much more frequently than scientists have previously suspected - perhaps every 1 to 3 thousand years, instead of every hundred thousand or so. Large asteroid strikes also produce weather alterations, and many more global phenomena. Interestingly, the period 2800 B.C. is when the first dynasty of Egypt started.

Imagine you are an inhabitant of one of the first bustling but overcrowded cities on earth, a bountiful economy of agriculturalists and traders. Your priests bring the attention of all to a new star in the sky that seems to grow brighter and “hairier” in surprisingly short order. This evil eye in the sky is intuitively considered malevolent, upsetting the order of the heavens. It stirs something deep within racial memory which cannot quite be identified but is felt as primal awe and fear.

The comet wags its growing tail as it nears the sun and becomes ever more threatening as it nears earth, ever more foreboding as it increases in size and brightness, perhaps even rivaling sun and moon. Then one day that disturbing presence falls to earth and in an instant everything is profoundly changed – changed back to primeval chaos where survivors can’t tell sky from earth because terra firma has literally disappeared in an inundation of unbelievable scale immensely beyond their human memories of disasters.

But before the Flood actually arrives, a new sun seems to arise from the South Storm. Meteor showers of debris pepper the air even before the enormous fireball flares into instantaneous destruction. That fire is followed by the hot electrical breath of a sonic boom, which trails electromagnetic chaos in the wake of the massive impactor.

Plasma auroras ripple, writhe and coil like serpents throughout the darkened sky. Megalightning rends the sky and jolts the ground and ignites fires that crackle and roar incessantly. The earth groans, shifts and buckles. The flood wind blows as the south-storm strikes the land – and strikes it hard, like a relentless Dragon with wave upon wave of assaults for six days and nights that never seem to end. It sounds like a mighty battle of titanic scope, of the Gods themselves.

This is no cross-cultural myth, but a real, if legendary event that exceeds the most fertile imagination. Ancient superstitions are the result, not the cause of the epics that came down to us as the beginning of history since all else was virtually destroyed. The priesthood consolidated its hold on the people, gazing at the heavens incessantly lest another such cosmic sojourner threaten their existence. The fact is, then, as now – real life disasters were an immanent threat, from the cosmos, earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and climatic havoc.

The valley of Mesopotamia is dominated by two major rivers, the Tigris and the Euphrates, and numerous smaller ones. It was a land in which catastrophic floods were not unusual in ancient times, and it is unsurprising that stories about a major flood arose within the mythology of this area. Such stories might simply reflect an understandable preoccupation with flooding in an area where flood disasters were an important reality. But, according to rediscovered tales, this storm came from the South – from the Indian Ocean -- not upriver to the North.

TALES WORTH WRITING: MASSIVE ABYSSAL IMPACT

The relationship of Dragon and Deluge is lost in the mist of time. The sole survivors of the Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Biblical versions of the tale report the abject terror that rained down on humanity, virtually obliterating it, destroying their old world. The oldest timelines of the event are likely the most accurate. Note, again, this is a South Storm, not the flooding of the northern Black Sea of an earlier era:

Tsunamis would have devastated Sumerian cities and possibly inspired the world’s oldest written story, the Epic of Gilgamesh, the root tale of Sumerian deluge (dated between 2750 and 2500 BCE). Its original cuneiform title was He Who Saw the Deep, referring to “Unknown Mysteries.” The king Gilgamesh is the first cultural icon obsessed with immortality. Utnapishtim, the hero of the Flood myth, tells his story to Gilgamesh.

'That stated time had arrived:
'He who orders unease at night, showers down a rain of blight.
'I watched the appearance of the weather.
The weather was awesome to behold.I boarded the ship and battened up the entrance.

With the first glow of dawn,
A black cloud rose up from the horizon.
Inside it Adad (the storm god) thunders,
While Shullat and Hanish (the heralds) go in front,
Moving as heralds over hill and plain.
Erragal (god of the underworld) tears out the posts (of the world dam);
Forth comes Ninurta and causes the dikes to follow.
The Anunnaki (gods of judgment) lift up the torches,
Setting the land ablaze with their glare.
Consternation over Adad reaches to the heavens,
Who turned to blackness all that had been light.
[That wide] land was shattered like [a pot]!
For one day the south-storm blew, [submerging the mountains],
Overtaking the [people] like a battle.
No one can see his fellow,
Nor can the people be recognized from heaven.
The gods were frightened by the deluge,
And, shrinking back, they ascended to the heaven of Anu (the father of
the other gods, who lived in the highest heaven).
The gods cowered like dogs
Crouched against the outer wall.

Ishtar (goddess of passion) cried out like a woman in travail,
The sweet-voiced mistress of the [gods] moans aloud:
'The olden days are alas turned to clay,

Six days and [six] nights
Blows the flood wind, as the south-storm sweeps the land.

When the seventh day arrived,
The flood(-carrying) south-storm subsided in the battle,
Which it had fought like an army.
The sea grew quiet, the tempest was still, the flood ceased.
I looked at the weather: stillness had set in,
And all of mankind had returned to clay.
The landscape was as level as a flat roof.

Seven days later, the waters began to subside:

I sat and wept,
Tears running down on my face.
I looked about for coast lines in the expanse of the sea:
In each of fourteen (regions)
There emerged a region(-mountain).

--EPIC OF GILGAMESH

These chaotic events of earth, sky and sea, inspired the Babylonian creation story, the Enuma Elish. There are several versions based on older tales, but basically Tiamat was goddess of the ocean but also primordial chaos, the celestial deep or abyss existing before Earth formed. She predated Enki (meaning “archetype”) as god of the sea. Notably, she is described as having a tail, as comets do.

The Enuma Elish says Tiamat gave birth to dragons and serpents. Enki's symbol was two entwined serpents, the caduceus. Tiamat and Enki engaged in a complicated war of storms and destruction, perhaps depicting the break up of Tiamat. Enki’s son, Marduk (the Sun God) sliced Tiamat in half, “smashing her skull.” Could this describe a coronal mass ejection or even the gravitational drag of the sun cleaving the mother-comet?

Hebrew versions of the Creation and the Deluge emphasizeconnections between the Semitic Babylonians and themselves. They increased the rain to forty days, noting that "the fountains of the deep" and "the windows of heaven" opened, which echos the horrendous effects of a massive impact.

Local rain cannot account for the magnitude of catastrophe. Mega-tsunamis are orders of magnitude beyond local flood. Excavations at Ashur reveal a tablet describing a true dragon with legs, implying it crawls up onto land. A god announces the presence of the dragon, saying "In the sea he lies...." Then he describes its humongous size.

In the sea was the Serpent cre[ated].
Sixty /bêru/ is his length;
Thirty /bêru/ high is his he[ad].
For half (a /bêru/) each stretches the surface of his ey[es];
For twenty /bêru/ go [his feet].

He devours fish, the creatures [of the sea],
He devours birds, the creatures [of the heaven],
He devours wild asses, the creatures [of the field],
He devours men…

There are ample grounds, then, for assuming the independent existence of the Babylonian Dragon-myth, though there is no doubt that the myth itself existed among the Sumerians. The dragon motif recurs constantly in Sumerian sacred-decoration. The twin dragons of Ningishzida on Gudea's libation-vase, carved in green steatite and inlaid with shell, are a notable product of Sumerian art. The very names borne by Tiamat's brood of monsters in the "Seven Tablets" are stamped in most cases with their Sumerian descent. It would be strange indeed if the Sumerians had not evolved a Dragon myth, for the Dragon combat is the most obvious of nature myths and is found in most mythologies of Europe and the Near East. The trailing storm-clouds suggest the serpent form, whose fiery tongue is seen in the forked lightning. Though the dragon may darken the world for a time, the Sun-god will always be victorious. In Egypt the myth of "the Overthrowing of Apep, the enemy of Ra" presents a close parallel to that of Tiamat.

Texts of Sethos II (1215-1210) tell that "Sekhmet was a circling star which spreaed out his fire in flames, a fire-flame in his storm." From Ugarit we hear, "The star Anat has fallen from the heavens; he slew the peopleof the Syrian land and confused the two twilights and the seats of the constellations." The Zoroastrians claimed it unleashed first terrible fire and then a flood called Tistrya. Widespread peoples described it burning and flooding. The old Sumerian tale is thus not the only lengend of comet-fall but is perhaps the oldest.

HERE THERE BE DRAGONS

The Sumerians explained environmental hardships came from displeased gods. Enki granted the Sumerians access to the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life. Enki set up the escape strategy during the Flood, and Enki passed over the Tables of Destiny - tables of scientific law, which became the bedrock of the early mystery schools in Egypt.

Enki allowed humans to survive the deluge. Thus, Sumerian texts are divided into two epochs before and after the Great Deluge, after which the gods departed, but not before “watering the Tree of Life” and creating a royal bloodline. The Dragon bloodline is also the “Grail bloodline" of Grail kings, including Merovingians.

Perhaps a long-hidden rare manuscript written by Saint Germain himself can shed some light on the subject bridging the past and present day reports of terrifying dragons in the sky and lineaged Dragon Societies with rituals of immortality.

We ride on the back of the Winged Dragon to the birth of myths that described cosmological changes and brought incomprehensible catastrophe to our ancestors but led to the rebirth of modern civilization. These events contain the common root of the mysteries of qabalah, alchemy, magic, hermetics, tantra, The Bible, the Tree of Life, immortality, and more.

This winged dragon is the symbolic superstar of Saint Germain’s Triangle Book. In the classic alchemical Book of Lambspring it represents the Anima Mundi, or Soul of the World, which is the sum total of planetary existence. This is the holographic blueprint on which form is based, the informational level or primal source of being - Zero Point. It is said that medicine providing the gift of youth can be made from the dragon's venom.

The dragon is a healing power. The spiritual food of immortality signifies the ability of the ego to assimilate the previously unconscious aspects of the Self. This is the elixir of youth that creates the immortal body, equivalent to the Philosopher's Stone. In the Triangle Book, the invocation with powerful godnames is combined with the dragon emblem to initiate the current. The rite couldn't be practiced without the Emblems and Sigils and perhaps the bloodline of a born seer.

In legend, the alchemical Philosopher's Stone is kept in the custody of the reawakened Dragon, the Adept who inhabits his or her Body of Light. Alchemy itself is a triple process of uniting the physical, psychological and spiritual. In Masonry, each line of the triangle itself symbolizes a kingdom of nature -- mineral, vegetable and animal. They stand for explorations the Master Mason needs for a complete education.

All these points may be clues to the nature of the "winged dragon" of the title page of The Triangle Book. In alchemy it is a symbol of the volatile elements. The winged dragon appears as a symbol of coagulatio in other alchemy texts, suggesting the pandemonium of psychic images.

Psychologically, the dragon is the union of ordinary human reality with the Transpersonal Self and a passion for transformation. Some now say it is a symbol of DNA or the kundalini energy. Thus, it is a symbol of the Great Work.

SECRETS OF THE DRAGON

Perhaps no other figure of his time is more mythologized than Comte de St. Germain (1710-1784). His story is full of classical heroic elements (Raglan, 1936). The more points of agreement, the closer the hero is to the UR-archetype, the sacred hero-king of prehistoric religious ritual. It is the model of psychic and planetary crisis.

  1. The hero's mother is a royal virgin.
  2. His father is a king and
  3. often a near relative of the mother, but
  4. the circumstances of his conception are unusual, and
  5. he is also reputed to be the son of a god
  6. at birth an attempt is made, usually by his father or maternal grandfather, to kill him, but
  7. He is spirited away, and
  8. reared by foster-parents in a far country.
  9. We are told nothing of his childhood, but
  10. on reaching manhood he returns or goes to his future kingdom.
  11. After a victory over the king and or giant, dragon, or wild beast
  12. he marries a princess, often the daughter of his predecessor and
  13. becomes king.

The Comte de St. Germain, “der Wundermann,” is a legendary figure. Little historical fact is known of this Hungarian Adept, a genius or charlatan, depending on your point of view. The Rosicrucians claim he was Sir Francis Bacon in a previous, or perhaps even extended life. New Agers count him among the Ascended Masters. He is strongly linked with the Freemasons, Illuminati, Rosicrucians and Knights Templar. He could allegedly astral travel or bilocate and produced an elixer of youth.

The self-styled Count has shadowy origins and his birth and death dates are unknown, as is his true identity. Saint-Germain was thought to be the love child of the widow of Charles II of Spain, or a Sephardic Jew from Portugal.

Theosophists glorify him as the son of Francis Racoczi II, the prince of Transylvania. His presumed mother came from the Tékéli family, which immigrated to Hungary from Serbia. He did appear openly in 1777 in Liepzig as the Prince Ragotzy and used the anagram name Tzarogy. Further compounding the problem, it was the practice of royalty and spies to change names and titles and travel incognito or under cover.

We have little from the Count's own hand other than grimoire The Triangle Book and the Trinosophia. The first book is a magical ritual in the formulaic and talismanic style of The Greater Key of Solomon and The Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, while the later is an allegory of Masonic initiation. Why of all people, of all occultists, should he be dubbed Immortal?

He reveled in multiple personae and the true heritage of this Merlin of his time will likely never be disclosed with any certainty. Certainly, by birthright or not, he had a noble soul, spreading the philosophy of The Enlightenment which had its root in Lurianic Kabbalism, Rosicrucianism and Masonry. Paradoxically, it is an anti-monarchist movement, involving some aristocrats.

His lineage is further clouded by rampant metaphysical and theosophical speculation, channeling and idiosyncratic claims. Like modern myths of the Deluge, we will attempt to steer clear of them here.

Even if related to the Dragon lineage via the father, it is the mother's line that contributes mitochondrial DNA to the Dragon line. Whether or not Saint Germain is legitimate, illegitimate, or adopted, the birth mother needs to be born in the late 1600s to give birth by 1710.

Maria Anna von Neuburg (1667-1740), second wife (1690-1700) of King Charles II of Spain, has been suggested as the true mother of an illegitimate Saint Germain. If so, it hardly matters who the mage's father was because his mother was a physically attractive, tall, thin, fair complexioned Red Head whose fertile parents had 23 children.

She was the 12th child of Philip William, Elector of the Palatinate and Elisabeth Amalie of Hesse-Darnstadt. Her eldest sister Eleonora was Empress to Emperor Leopold I. After 1706, Maria moved to France from her exile in Toledo. If she bore a child around 1710 it would still be wise to publically conceal that fact. Is this why Comte de St. Germain was reared and educated by the last Duc de Medici? Or was he the Transylvanian prince?

Librarian Casare Cantu in Illustri Italiani, ii, 18 says, “The Marquis of San Germano appears to have been the son of Prince Ragotszy (Ragoczy) of Transylvania; he was also much in Italy…protected by the last Grand Duke of Tuscany, who had educated him,” presumably at the University of Sienna. He was placed in the care of the last Duc de Medici (Gian Gastone) and carried the Hermetic legacy forward zealously.

Prince Karl of Hesse, who knew him well, said, "This House (Medici), as is well known, was in possession of the highest knowledge, and it is not surprising that he should have drawn his earlier knowledge from them; but he claimed to have learned that of Nature by his own application and researches. He thoroughly understood herbs and plants, and had invented the medicines of which he constantly made use, and which prolonged his life and health."

Perhaps he identified with the Dragon lineage when he was a permanent houseguest of Prince Karl Landgrave of Hessen-Kassell (1744-1836), Grand Master of the Asiatic Bretheren. He was most interested in St. Germain for occult reasons. Rosicrucian manifestos were first published in the town of Kassell in 1614 and 1615. The House of Hesse was the fulcrum of the occult revival. The Rothchilds were their family bankers. Most of the accrued money came from hiring out mercenaries.

The "Asiatics" link together Hermeticism, Gnosticism, Rosicrucianism, Templar Freemasonry, Jewish Cabalistic Frankist/Sabbatian occultism and the Illuminati. St-Germain informs his new friend that he will be a permanent houseguest. Karl is reluctant, but finally agrees, and the two settle in Schleswig, where they study chemistry and distribute herbal remedies to the poor. Karl calls him 'the greatest philosopher who ever lived,' and nicknames him 'Papa'. After five years, the Count catches pneumonia from his draughty lab. He dies on 27 February 1784. Karl is away at a Masonic conclave, but the death is witnessed by his doctor." http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/NWO/Illuminati.htm

Prince Karl, a member of the Illuminati was brother of Wilhelm I, son of Frederick II, and married to his first cousin, Louise, Princess of Denmark. Her Oldenberg dynasty produced the Kings of Denmark, Norway, Greece, and the later Romanov Emperors of Russia...all plausibly associated with the Dragon line.

St. Germain was in St. Petersburg to conspire when the Russian army assisted Catherine the Great in usurping the throne from her husband Peter III of Russia. The Russian royal family was descended from the Babylonian Exilarch through John Paleologos, eponymous ancestor of the Palaeogan dynasty that married into the Byzantine Royal family. The Palaeologan dynasty began with Michael VIII Palaiologos, who became emperor in 1259, and his descendants ruled until the fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Turks in 1453. Because of their intermarriage with European families, the Palaeologans were the first Imperial family to have crests and coats-of-arms in the Western manner, using the Imperial double-headed eagle. http://secretsocieties.wordpress.com/2008/09/20/tentang-illuminati/

Legend says, the Oldenbergs descend from Elgimar, brother of Godfroi of Bouillon, descended from the Swan Knight and whose mother was Karl's mother's sister, Louise of Hanover, Princess of England. Was Saint Germain a shirt-tail relative?

Claiming the Dragon

Definitely a member of the Asiatic Bretheren, did Saint Germain hint at a connection when he made the Dragon the emblematic crest of his most magical work? The untold tale of St. Germain and the primeval force of the Dragon is hinted at in the first sentence of his sorcerer's handbook, The Triangle Book: “The Holy Magic revealed to Moses discovered within an Egyptian monument and preciously preserved in Asia under the emblem of a winged dragon.”

Great secrets and great traditions go together. Enki, Lord of the Sacred Eye, passed down laws and beliefs. That other-worldly secret is of the wisdom and knowledge of the Tree of Life and priest-king cult of the mystic bloodline -- a contrived matrilineal breeding program beginning with Enki's sister-wife Nin-khursag (Isis).

Dragonsblood

The root is ritual sex magick, incantations, the Elixir Vitae and the transformative science of self-initiation, the full potential of "man-ifestation." The secret single eye, the pineal gland becomes activated. Thought free awareness, enlightened consciousness, pure being and "knowing" are synonymous. Values include structured society, self-development and freedom of thought.

Mystification set in because the historical root was lost for millennia before the ancient texts were rediscovered in the modern era. So numerous are the threads of both wisdom and misunderstanding that morphed from this current, it is impossible to describe them all here. We are left staring into the abyss without denial that we, too, could be wiped clean from the slate of history.

Natural phenomena are related to social institutions. If we are driven to search for immortality and desire foreknowledge of the future it is because we know death awaits as our certain fate. The comet cult of the chaos Dragon Tiamat remains a powerful magical force in part because it is the worst fate imaginable.

The root of the word serpent, NHSH, means "to solve or reveal secrets." And those secrets belong to Enki, of the single all-seeing eye who rides in on the great and terrible storm of heaven, the worst catastrophe of historical times, then creates mankind, mystery schools, technology, oracular omens, and kingship. Even the immortality of the gods lies largely in their progeny.

The serpent-god Enki brought the Flood. This is the esoteric secret "hidden since before the Great Flood"…when spells and spelling were intimately and alpha-numerically related, a dual secret of mythic immortality and divine lineage recorded by one of the first literate civilizations. At first these cryptic statements might seem strictly alchemical, but alchemy has many layers of meaning. Magical seals and ciphers conceal and reveal more. Nothing is simply what it seems because Enki is the Lord of Magicians.

We must ask specifically, what did this winged dragon mean to St. Germain and the sinister left-handed path of magick? What does it mean in the context of the Triangle Book, an Abramelin type magical text with magic circles and seals crucial to working the longevity formula? Where did the book and his obsession with the quest for immortality (echoed in the cult of pharaohs) come from?

In fact, where he, himself, actually came from is an open question due to his own mythologizing of his life. Subsequent Theosophical speculation has muddied the waters beyond belief, claiming an astounding number of famous reincarnations.

Was his grimoire, The Triangle Book an heirloom of his family, a treasure from the Medicis or another mage, or St. Germain's own artistic alchemical manifesto -- a virtuoso piece, uniting all his fantasies about his family, his heritage and his aspirations for life extension and magical illumination? The Triangle Book leaves no doubt that Saint Germain sought increased longevity through magical and dietary means.

His legend speaks of his extraordinary youthful looks and hints at an ability to soul-travel from body to body. Was magic an ancient gene therapy? If so, this secret is safe, all the way down to the DNA. The power is in the secret, and the secret is in the power, because it cannot be told, since it is strictly experiential. Those without the DNA will simply not get the experience.

The book itself is triangular in shape, on vellum, and written in cipher like Masonic documents, and decodes into French. It is titled The Sacred Magic Revealed to Moses, recovered in an Egyptian monument and carefully preserved in Asia under the Device of a Winged Dragon...written about 1750. On the first page above a wyvern are the words: "By the gift of the most wise Comte de St.-Germain who passed through the circle of the earth." The writing itself belongs to a class known as Grimoire or Manuals of Ceremonial Magic, beginning:

"The orbit (magic circle) which thou seest on the preceding page will serve thee as a model to make others which shall be nine cubits in diameter. Thou shalt use these to perform marvels, a priviledge which thy predecessors Beros and Sanchoniaton did not have. I give thee at the same time the intelligence of the characters in which is written my revelation so that thou mayest make use of them for three purposes: to find things lost in the seas since the upsetting of the globe (the Deluge); to discover mines of diamonds, gold and silver in the heart of the earth; to preserve the health and prolong the life to a century or over with the freshness of fifty years and the strength of that age." (Manley Palmer Hall, trans.)

The Secret of Kings: Dragon Family Tree

Briefly, the Dragon lineage of St. Germain starts in the Caucasus with the Annunaki, descending through migrating proto-Scythians to the Sumerians while branching off also into the early Egyptians, Phoenicians and Mittani. A marriage bridge back to Scythia infused the Elvin line of “Tuatha de Danaan” and the Fir Bolg.

The tree branched into the Arch-Druidic, Priest-Princely family to the Royal Picts of Scotland and the ring kings of the Horse Lords of Dal Riada, through the Elven dynasty of Pendragon and Avallon del Acqs, and down to a few pure bred families today. Nicholas de Vere von Drakenberg claims this as his own Dragon family tree and genealogy backs him up. (Twyman)

Saint Germain was allegedly born to a native royal Hungarian line linked to the Dragon legacy if not the Dragon DNA designer genes. In his later years, he spent time in Transylvania, performing magical rituals with his aristocratic friends. He would naturally have been exposed to this lore and its hoary legends.

The Medicis who fostered young St. Germain were the first to print the Corpus Hermeticum (1460). They thought it was an ancient Egyptian text though the writings attributed to Hermes Trimegestus are from 100-300 CE. These works were post-pharaohonic (Cleopatra reigned as last pharaoh, 51-30, BC).

Yet, research suggests the content developed long before Greek rulers made Thoth synonymous with Hermes. The same archaic Thoth brought the Deluge. Whatever their origin, the young Count could not have avoided reading them with great interest and embracing their philosophy. He may have thought they bore on his heritage and they certainly influenced his future.

In fact, this Dragon connection may explain why he was itinerant, not merely a wandering magician, scholar, jeweler and businessman. As a Hungarian or Transylvanian prince, was he either part of or in struggle with a bloodline, bred for rulership and magic? Was he a spy?

In 1743 he was reported in in London, accused as a spy for the Stewarts. He went to France around 1748, where Louis XV employed him as a spy several times. Around 1760 he was forced to leave France for England. There he taught Count Cagliostro the Egyptian Rite of Freemasonry.

By 1762 he was in St. Petersburg, meddling in the conspiracy to make Catherine the Great Queen of Russia. After returning to Paris in 1770, he prophesied the French Revolution to Marie Antoinette and her friend, Madame d'Adhémar, who wrote a story of his abilities as an Adept. Then he traveled through Germany, eventually dwelling in the state of Schleswig-Holstein.

Alchemy

Alchemy always has layer upon layer of meaning, and in this case the opening sentence of THE TRIANGLE BOOK conceals a political message of a royal lineage, described since the dawn of history as Dragons. Saint Germain was heir to this lineage though the politics of the day necessitated hiding his true identity, much like Sir Francis Bacon had to hide the fact he was the “natural son” of Queen Elizabeth I a few decades earlier.

Alchemical philosophy is an intrinsic part of Hermetic thought, from the land of Khem (Egypt). Tuthmosis III of Egypt, who reigned about 1450 BC, maintained a hermetic school he originally inherited -- the Royal Court of the Dragon. The Egyptian priest-prince Ankhfn Khonsu (2170 BC) was a Dragon Court patron. Founded by the priests of Mendes in about 2200 BC, it was subsequently revived by the 12th dynasty Queen Sobeknefru (or Sobekh Nefru) in 1785 B.C.

The Royal Court Of The Dragon provided an institution for the pursuit of the work of the Dragon of Al-Khem otherwise known as Thoth or Hermes. From Al-Khem we have alchemy, the Great Work of the Dragon, with its classic texts, The Emerald Tablets and The Pymander.

Hungarian legend says this sovereign and priestly Order passed from Egypt to the Kings of Jerusalem, back to the Black Sea Princes of Scythia and into the Balkans - notably to the Royal House of Hungary. King Sigismund von Luxembourg reconstituted the Dragon Court in 1408 and became Holy Roman Emperor in 1433. Today it exists as the Imperial and Royal Court of the Dragon Sovereignty, and after some 4,000 years it is the oldest sovereign Court in the world. The Pendragon line migrated to England from this lineage far earlier.

The Dragon kings supported by the court have rightfully ruled many nations and empires throughout history. The last legitimate English Dragon monarch was Richard III. The Imperial and Royal Dragon Court, reconstituted [perhaps fraudulently] by King Sigismund as the Societas Draconis, was based on an entitlement Sigismund assumed he inherited from his presumed Egyptian and Scythian ancestors through the Pictish, Dragon Princess Maelasanu of Northumbria and the Ancient and Original Angevin Royal House of Vere of Anjou, the Imperial Dukes of Angiers.

Dynastic Deceit

Nicholas de Vere von Drakenberg calls this a dynastic deception. He says Sigismund “presumptuously and erroneously assumed to have inherited the bloodline legacy.” Without DNA tests who could prove him wrong at the time? At the time it seemed a legitimate claim and surely he believed it and so did many of the royal courts of Europe.

The true line descended through the Tuatha de Danaan (the Dragon Kings of Anu) on the one hand, and the Egyptian Dragon Dynasty of Sobek on the other. The later strain included the bloodline of the Davidic House of Judah who married into the descent of the Merovingian Kings of the Franks.

After its formal Hungarian revival in 1408, the Court recruited members from a number of prominent royal and noble houses, including Poland and Lithuania. This was a heterodox lot, including the later House of Vere. It was the British Plantagenet era when the Dragon Court was formally reconstituted, a time of wars, general political turmoil, new political alignments and occult machinations.

Having presumptuously and perhaps erroneously assumed to have inherited the bloodline legacy in 1397, Sigismund drew up a pact with twenty-three royals and nobles who swore to observe ’true and pure fraternity’ within the Societas Draconis, subsequently misidentified as the Ordo Draconis (Hungarian: Sarkany Rend). Although the original Court was by no means an Order in the recognized chivalric sense, the misnomer was strategically retained in the style of the time.

Vampire Overlords

Sigismund’s second wife, Barbara Cille (daughter of the Austrian Duke Hermann of Styria), was joint sovereign. Barbara was a Vampire (witch) who was taught by Ibrahim Eleazar, the keeper of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. Pope Eugene IV was forced to tolerate his Emperor’s pre-Christian, non-Catholic establishment. Even a misappropriated kingly tradition trumps a denominational dispute. That is the nature of overlords -- they prevail, even against odds.

Vlad Tepes, a 15th-century Prince in Romania, founded the capital city of Bucharest. His popularized name, Dracula, means "Son of Dracul." His father was known as Dracul (or Dragon) within the Grail fraternity of the Ordo Draconis. (Gardner, Ring Lords) Transylvania is the earliest known homeland of the Dragon Kings. But, according to Nicholas de Vere, the House of Dracul descended from sons of Attila the Hun with no bloodline connection to Egypt. So it claimed an apostolic succession. There is no definable bloodline link or marriage bridge.

The Dragon Tradition was alive and well during the time of Saint Germain and he was certainly part of it if he was a Transylvanian prince, whether he could pass a “Dragon DNA test” or not. It is no accident one of his only two original works (Triangle Book and Trinosophia) carried the Dragon emblem. No wonder the book has been held closely under wraps ever since.

If there was indeed dynastic [self-]deception, Comte de St. Germain was unlikely to be any but an unwitting part, and would probably have identified strongly with this legacy. It is a legacy of seership through the genetic root – clear seeing, clairvoyant, transcendent consciousness.

Love of truth and democracy, clarity of vision, honesty of spirit, avoiding greed, focusing on a far richer spiritual and cultural experience were Saint Germain's qualities. He sought to still the mind to the point where all acts are magical acts, where immortality can be found and experienced. The dragon’s fiery breath was pneuma or the spirit of the divine. All this was certainly St. Germain’s quest.

DRAGONS & SAINT GERMAIN

Today, according to its mage Nicholas de Vere, the Imperial and Royal Dragon Court only exists as a closed fraternity, a collective only of individuals who can trace their ancestry and affiliations back to the ancient, pre-Christian Elven, Grail and Dragon families via Anjou. Their rituals can't work neurochemically on anyone without their bloodline.

The Court retains the traditional three-tier degree system that Sigismund revived. He added three separate representations of the alchemical Ouroboros emblem for the distinct ranks of the Court, harking back to earlier dragon rings. A fourth emblem shaped like an Egyptian Ankh or Albigensian Cross was used by the family officers of the Inner Temple.

We know from the history of Comte St. Germain that he was accused of being a Jacobite, and spying for the Stuarts in England. Sir Laurence Gardner is a direct link to this hidden Jacobite agenda today -- virtually a modern day St. Germain, at least in title. But that title stems from the town of St. Germain, France, not the magician.

Echoing the opening lines of the TRIANGLE BOOK, this lineage traces itself to Egypt and is later preserved in Asia, by the Scythians. Coming from Hungary and/or Transylvania, St. Germain, being of noble blood himself, could not be unaware of this symbolic Dragon lineage. Reading between the lines, could this be the hidden cause of his trips to England and his continuous travels through Europe and the Orient? Was he investigating his roots?

Myth of the Magus

Ferenc of Rákóczi, Prince of Transylvania, is Saint Germain’s reputed father. He was Head of the First Hungarian Liberation Battle for the re-establishment of Hungarian Kingdom Authority. In the fight for independence against the Habsburg Conquest all Hungarian people engaged in a spiritual struggle extending across centuries.

The first Habsburg King acquired the Hungarian throne by a deal unacceptable to the people. Hungarian elites ridiculed the Habsburg Clan and encouraged the Hungarian Royal State Formation. Independence of the Habsburg Clan, and the reestablishment of the Hungarian State Authority in her territory is the crucial cult movement of the Hungarian nation.

A symbolic dragon of the bloodline, Comte de St.Germain, allegedly the first son of Ferenc Rákóczi was kidnapped by the Habsburg clan in punishment of Prince Rákótzi's activism against the Habsburgs. He was adopted out to the French Comte Family at the demand of the Habsburgs. His matrilineal line included Princess Amelia, daughter of he Duke of Hessen, and on the father's side Ilona Zrinyi and Sophia Bathory.

Joseph Rákóczi was the second son of Prince Ferenc Rákóczi and Amalie Princesse of Hessen, born in the French emigration of her father. The Conceptor and Head of the 2nd Hungarian Liberation's Battle against the Habsburg Empire was excommunicated by the Pope for this mission.

In 1784, the Bavarian Illuminati, possibly including Saint Germain in the shadows, attempted to overthrow the Hapsburgs. But other sources cite this as the year of death for "The Man Who Wouldn't Die." Comte de Saint Germain was also a rumored paid agent of the French Revolution. In other words – he was an international spy for the Dragon Dynasty wherever he went. Most historical occult personalities were also involved in spying.

Jacobite Succession

Plans for the French Revolution were made in 1782, at the Grand Masonic Convention at Wilhelmsbad in Hessen-Kassell. In 1788, the Illuminati sent the strategy to the French lodges, creating a political committee in each lodge that was the forerunner of the Jacobins Club.

Sir Laurence Gardner, a Jacobite, is a contemporary writer and chivalric genealogist of note. Much of his research for Genesis of the Grail Kings and Realm of the Ring Lords came originally from de Vere. His interpretations and conclusions are somewhat different. But he has his own bonafides. His numerous titles include: Chancellor of the Royal Court of the Dragon Sovereignty, now based in Britain; Prior of the Celtic Church's Sacred Kindred of St. Columba.

Known as Chevalier Labhran de Saint Germain, Gardner is Presidential Attache to the European Council of Princes - a constitutional advisory body established in 1946. He is formally attached to the Noble Household Guard of the Royal House of Stewart, founded at St. Germain-en-Laye in 1692, and is the Jacobite Historiographer Royal.

Gardner of the Tree of Life

Sir Laurence himself calls the Merovingian "Holy Grail" bloodlines the "dragon" bloodlines, but claims that this term derives from the use of crocodile fat in the royal anointing ceremonies of ancient Egypt. He claims Sigismund von Luxembourg was a descendant of the Lusignan Dragon Kings of Jerusalem. The new Dragon king declared that members of the Court might wear the insignia of a dragon incurved into a circle, with a red cross — the very emblem of the original Rosicrucis which had identified the Grail succession from before 3000 B.C.

The House of Stuart, deposed in 1688, took over the presidency of the Council from the House of Habsburg-Austria, relating it to its one-time Royal Academy, a very scientific establishment. In fact, in the 1700s in particular, it was highly Rosicrucian - very scientific and alchemical. From the time of Robert the Bruce, the Chancellor of that organization was given the title Prince Saint Germain, originating in the Stuart Royal Court in France, at the Palace of Saint Germain.

*

In the 1700s the Chancellor title was changed to Count Saint Germain, then changed again in the 1890s to Chevalier Saint Germain. Sir Laurence Gardner’s present title is that of Chevalier Saint Germain - which is where the knighthood comes from. Distinct from an English knighthood, his is a Franco-Scot distinction attached to the Stuart Royal Court of France [as ratified by King Louis XIV in 1692], in the key Noble Order of the Royal Palace of Saint Germain-en-Laye, near Paris.

DRAGON LINE

Why was the kingly line which descended to Jesus and beyond so unique from the outset in old Mesopotamian times? The Messianic succession of Grail dynasts (or Dragon Kings) was alchemically conceived and purpose-bred for the role of earthly leadership. They are the Scythian-Aryan root race of the Indo-European expansion.

The red-haired mummies of China, the Tocharians, help us give faces to these nearly 4000 year old ancestors who carried both West Eurasian and east Asian genes. The oldest mummies are almost exclusively Caucausoid. Their textiles trace back to the Caucasus and steppes of the Black Sea.

These mummies have been found with the swastika symbol, which is a pictograph of an approaching comet with the spiral votex of its jetting coma. Perhaps memories of stone age cataclysms were kept alive by oral tradition long before Gilgamesh was written. These meteor hammering experiences charged their psychological, sociological, mythical and spiritual perspective. They tempered their souls. They were comet worshippers.

The Sumerians first appeared in Mesopotamia in 3500 BC. They fled south when the Black Sea flooded around 4000 BC. They were magicians, scholars, technicians, scientists. The records of ancient Sumer talk of the supernatural Anunnaki gods and their "creation chamber." According to Gardner, the great vulcans of the era produced the enigmatic Highward Fire-stone (the white powder of monatomic gold) that was used to feed the Light-bodies of the Babylonian Kings and Egyptian Pharaohs. This substance, when ingested, allegedly had stunning effects on the endocrine system.

Nicholas de Vere strongly disputes the healing value of monatomic gold, saying the rituals of immorality were essentially tantric blood rites which would be useless to anyone not hardwired into this heritage. In other words, you cannot make a Dragon with monatomic gold from anyone not in the bloodline. He talks about Gardner's monoatomic gold as a dubious vanity, a commercial enterprise somewhat akin to "snake oil."

The senior line of royal descent (genetically determined by the mitochondrial DNA of the Dragon Queens) can be followed down to the time of Moses. He also rejects any implications of alien lizard races as preposterous. He claims the Dragon line, an essentially different species, was radically different due to its isolation in the dense forests of the foreboding Caucasus Mountains in the distant past before the Mesopotamian flowering.

The ancient Yezidis sect of "devil worshippers," but more accurately angel worshippers, claims to be the root of all Eastern religions -- the original religion. Angels are Watchers. Their name means "ones who are on the true path." They claim they are the children of Adam. Their oral story is over 4000 years old, older than the Islamic tribal name for these (mostly Kurdish) Transcaucasian dwellers of the Mount Ararat region. They reject revealed books.

Being a Yezidi is a matter of birth, not faith, though they believe in life after death or rebirth -- the soul never dies. They practice baptism. They have extraordinary respect for nature and the elements. In their creation myth, a primordial white pearl falls down and divides into four pieces and water spurts from the pearl.

Gardner explains in Genesis of the Grail Kings, the monarchs of the Grail succession were called Messiahs (Anointed Ones) because, in the early days in Mesopotamia and Egypt, they were anointed with the fat of the sacred Messeh (the holy dragon or crocodile). By virtue of this, they were called Dragons.

The Dragon, emblematic of wisdom, was the epitome of the Holy Spirit, which, according to the Book of Genesis, moved upon the waters of time, while the Grail was the perpetual Blood Royal -- the Sangréal. Originally, in old Mesopotamia, it was called the Gra-al - the Sacred Blood of the Dragon Queens.

This sacred blood was said to be the "nectar of supreme excellence." The ancient Greeks called it “ambrosia." Allegedly it was supercharged with transformative endocrine hormones we now know as neurotransmitters, melatonin and DMT, the “spirit molecule” that means activation of the pineal gland or third eye, conferring magical powers or siddhis and tremendous spiritual insight.

In Britain, the Tuatha Dé Danann (or Dragon Lords of Anu) were masters of the transcendent Sidhé, classified as "fates" or "fairies". Before settling in Ireland (from about 800 BC), these Black Sea Princes of Scythia (now Ukraine) shared the Dragon nobility of the early Kings of Egypt.

Like the original dynastic Pharaohs, they traced their descent from the great Pendragons of Mesopotamia. The kingly lines of the Irish Bruithnigh and the Picts of Scotland's Caledonia sprang from them. In Wales they founded the Royal House of Gwynedd, while in Cornwall in the southwest of England, they were the sacred gentry known as the Pict-sidhé - from which the term "pixie" is derived. Their proto-tantric practices transformed consciousness and manifested siddhis - magical powers.

A single caste of the original Blood Royal - whether known as the Dragon Court, the Sangréal, the Albi-gens or the Ring Lords - contains many of the descriptive terms at the very heart of popular folklore. This singular bloodline gave birth to the "elves", "fairies" and "pixies" - not beguiling little folk, but distinguished Kings and Queens of the Dragon succession with extraordinary potential.

DRAGON SEERS: THE DRAGON LINEAGE TODAY

Gardner’s books on the Dragon lineage are largely based on de Vere’s From Transylvania to Tunbridge Wells, later published by The Book Tree under the title The Dragon Legacy.

Both claim to be the true inheritors and guardians of this Dragon tradition, also known as the Grail tradition. De Vere spent two decades delving into history, mythology, science, religion, and his own family archives to compile his insightful and revealing text. He claims he channeled parts of it and then rigorously sought the historical verifications.

That intuition is a Dragon gift and trait. What de Vere came up with is more than another pop culture craze, but an entirely new revelation of theology, with a new philosophy and politics with its root at the dawn of civilization. However, neither Gardner nor de Vere make any claims to sovereignty nor power.

Perhaps it is enough to identify the Tribe of Anu as the common root of tantra, qabalah, magic, alchemy, hermetics and Rosicrucianism. They were centered on spirituality, gnosis, transcendent consciousness. The gods are carried in the blood, in the genetic memory and called forth and given voice by invocation.

Clearly de Vere has foregone wealth, power, and fame in the interest of stewarding the Dragon lineage. Writing about an elite genetic strain of humanity that descends from a super-human race, and which possesses abilities inaccessible to those outside of that strain, is not exactly a ticket to universal adulation.

To the contrary, de Vere's assertions regarding the elite status of the Dragon bloodline have branded him completely anathema to the Wiccan and New Age communities. He is vocal on their total lack of cultural authenticity. Still he has spent the last twenty years of his life on this monumental task, with few rewards.

Researcher de Vere serves as the head of an elite occult order with origins stretching back to the Knights Templar, and he holds a potential claim to several important royal titles. This, some have supposed, is the real motivation behind his work. Some believe that de Vere wants to be the King of England or France, an assertion that he flatly denies.

Others imagine de Vere is the anti-Christ himself, and see in the Dragon Court an international Satanic conspiracy somewhere on a level between the Ordo Templi Orientis and the Bilderberg Group. This paranoid theory is based on the Great Dragon of Revelation but Prince Nicholas de Vere is certainly not he and has no aspirations to earthly power. (Twyman)

The Royal and Imperial Dragon Court and Order, in conjunction with The Dragon Court, led by HRH Prince Nicholas de Vere von Drakenberg, is an ancient order charged with preserving the royal Dragon bloodline, the secret Dragon wisdom, and the sacred Dragon tradition.

Draco was a divine emblem of the Sumerian kings, Egyptian Pharaohs, a symbol of the Egyptian Therapeutate, of the Essenes at Qumran, and was the Bistea Neptunis (the sea serpent) of the descendant Merovingian Fisher-Kings in Europe.

Saint Germain was a player in that illustrious line of monarchs and mages as shown by his homage in his Dragon-emblem Triangle Book, a magical text and ritual for immorality in the ancient style of Abramelin. By his fruits, he could be considered a Dragon, a Seer, and a denizen of other dimensions.

Francis Leopold Racozi, or Rakoczy, according to the later spelling--the father of the famous mystic--made ineffectual efforts to regain his throne, the principality of Siebenbürgen. The Ragoczy property was wealthy and valuable, and Prince Francis, grandfather of the mystic of whom we are writing, had lost his life in a hopeless struggle to retain his freedom; on his death, his widow and children were seized by the Austrian Emperor, and hence the son, Francis Leopold, was brought up at the Court of Vienna. As our informant says: "The widowed Princess (who had remarried Graf Tékéli) was forced to hand over her children with their properties to the Emperor, who said he would become their guardian and be responsible for their education." This arrangement was made in March, 1688. When, however, Prince Francis came of age, his properties, with many restrictions and limitations, were given back to him by the Emperor of Austria. In 1694 this Prince Ragoczy married at Köln-am-Rhein, Charlotte Amalia, daughter of the Landgraf Karl von Hesse-Wahnfried (of the line of Rhein-fels). Of this marriage there were three children, Joseph, George and Charlotte. Almost immediately after this period Prince Ragoczy began to lead the conspiracies of his noblemen against the Austrian Empire, with the object of regaining his independent power. The history of the struggle is most interesting in every way, and singularly pathetic. The Prince was defeated and all his properties were confiscated. The sons had to give up the name of Ragoczy, and to take the titles of St. Carlo and St. Elizabeth. "We are, in fact, inclined to think the Comte de St. Germain was the younger son of the Prince Franz-Leopold Ragoczy and the Princess Charlotte Amalia of Hesse-Wahnfried. Franz-Leopold was married in 1694, and by this marriage he had two sons, who were taken prisoners by the Austrians and brought up as Roman Catholics; they were also forced to give up the dreaded name of Ragoczy.
